Message from Our Regional Executive

Greetings Region 7,
It is a true privilege to serve as your 2025–2026 Regional Executive. Region 7 proudly encompasses the first HFMA chapter — First Illinois — as well as the outstanding chapters of Greater Illinois, Indiana Pressler Memorial, and Wisconsin. Together, we form a vibrant and dedicated community committed to delivering high-quality education, fostering meaningful networking, and building lasting professional relationships. We remain focused on supporting the provider communities we serve and strive to create inclusive opportunities for everyone involved.
HFMA has been an integral part of both my professional and personal journey. With over 15 years of volunteer experience at the chapter and regional levels, I can confidently say that this has been among the most rewarding experiences of my career. HFMA has not only allowed me to contribute to the vital missions of our healthcare organizations, but has also helped me grow in skills, build valuable connections, and enjoy every step of the way.
As we navigate the ever-evolving healthcare landscape, HFMA empowers every member to become stronger professionals, impactful leaders, and engaged community contributors. I wholeheartedly join HFMA Chair Kiran Batheja in the call to “Lead Now.” If you’re not yet involved with your chapter—or are looking to deepen your engagement—please connect with me or reach out to one of the chapter leaders listed below. There’s a place for everyone, and your contribution matters.
2024–2025 Chapter Leaders

- Greater Illinois – Shannon Williams
- Indiana Pressler Memorial – Tashia Lindvall

A special thank you to Jessica Yard, Immediate Past Regional Executive of Region 7, for her exemplary leadership, unwavering commitment, and inspiring mentorship. I also deeply appreciate the ongoing collaboration with Lisa Earl (Regional Executive 2) and Kara McAdam (Regional Executive 3)—your partnership strengthens our collective success.
Here’s to a transformative year ahead. Let’s lead boldly and build something extraordinary—together.
