Job Description:

Our client, a national healthcare services company, seeks to hire a Senior Financial Analyst in its FP&A division at the Atlanta office. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in financial analysis and reporting to support forecasting and performance analysis activities. Please note: previous healthcare experience is REQUIRED to be considered for this position.

Location: Buckhead area of Atlanta, Georgia. Only local candidates are being considered. Please do not apply if you do not reside in the Atlanta area.

Compensation: $90k – $110k annual salary, depending on experience

Hybrid Work Environment: 3 days in office, 2 days remote

Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial Planning: forecast and prepare monthly, yearly, and long-term financial statements for various service lines and departments
  • Financial Modeling and Strategic Analysis: create complex models to identify opportunity areas for cost savings and unrealized operational efficiencies
  • Variance, Trend, and Revenue Analysis: calculate and analyze actual results vs. forecasted results.
  • Utilize Power BI to connect to dynamic data sources to continuously automate analyses and generate charts, reports and dashboards
  • Reporting and presentations: prepare, deliver, and present financial reports to service line leaders and corporate management
  • Identify process improvement areas that would have an impact on the company’s financial performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates MUST reside in the Atlanta area. Relocation will not be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 4+ years of progressive financial analysis experience, including strong financial modeling skills in Microsoft Excel
  • 2+ years of previous experience working in healthcare (payer, provider, or consulting)
  • Power BI experience is not required but strongly preferred
  • Must reside within the greater Atlanta, Georgia area

Preferred Qualifications:

HFMA certification a huge plus

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree minimum. Master’s preferred.

Compensation/ Benefits:

Hemophilia of Georgia (HoG) is a nationally and internationally recognized nonprofit organization that provides programs and support services for people with hemophilia, von Willebrand Disease, and other bleeding disorders. HoG is the only agency of its kind in the state and is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of the bleeding disorder community by providing excellence in comprehensive health care, education, advocacy, and the support of research to transform lives. Hemophilia of Georgia operates an annual summer camp program for children and teens with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders. Camp is typically held in the summer (which may include the Fourth of July) and runs Saturday-Friday, and the date changes each year. Camp is an agency-wide, strategic priority; therefore, all exempt employees must participate. Assignments may include duties at camp, helping campers get to and from camp, and may involve overnight travel. The Director of Camp & Client Events will provide advance notice to exempt employees of where support is needed. PTO requests during the week of camp are generally not approved; however, PTO requests for extenuating circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Chief Community Engagement Officer. The Payer Relations Account Manager (P.R.A.M) develops and manages relationships between HoG and assigned accounts. The P.R.A.M represents the entire range of products and services to assigned accounts while assisting with developing, implementing, and maintaining strategic plans designed to foster account retention and growth. This includes but is not limited to contract negotiations, analysis, and follow-up to ensure all required elements are in place to meet the specific terms of the agreement. The P.R.A.M must develop a thorough understanding of HoG and its products and services.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years payer relations experience, including navigation of revenue cycle processes from Prior Authorization through Denial and Appeal management
  • A minimum of 7 years sales and/or direct customer facing experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Understanding of Commercial, Government and Self-Insured Health plans and pharmacy benefit managers.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships/earn credibility with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to manage, coach and develop a team.Skilled in payer contract negotiations.Understanding of 340B pricing model is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Highly developed time management skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities with a high degree of initiative required.
  • Proven solid team player that has a customer service approach and is solution oriented.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to develop, plan and implement short- and long-term goals.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality.Strong team player who brings initiative, positivity, and creativity to the table

  • Excellent skills in solving foundational mathematical equations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, and any required software used by department.
  • Ability to become proficient in navigating revenue cycle systems, such as Availity, SolAce, and others.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% is required.
  • Essential Functions: Direct supervision of Revenue Cycle Coordinators responsible for assigned accounts.
