President’s Welcome

Dear Georgia, HFMA Members, Visitors, and Friends,
I am truly honored and excited to serve as your new President of the Georgia HFMA Chapter for the 2025-2026 term. While the healthcare industry is constantly changing and evolving, our chapter remains focused on our mission to connect providers, business partners, members, students, volunteers, and sponsors in a safe space that allows them to find Fresh Solutions to their Timeless Challenges.
I would like to give a special thanks to Monica Agate, the board of directors, members, and volunteers who supported and served Georgia HFMA last year, with a focus to Go Beyond Survive…Thrive. We thank you for your dedication and commitment to this chapter and the focus to enhance our education programs and professional development.
Georgia HFMA is a growing, active, and enthusiastic chapter, with over six thousand members to include students, business partners, individual members, and enterprise members. This year our focus is on Connection, ensuring we are meeting the needs of our members and connecting them to resources.
The theme for this year is, “Timeless Challenges…Fresh Solutions.” Connecting our healthcare leaders to organizations, tools, and experts who can provide solutions for their health system, medical center, department, and team members; allowing for better outcomes and a positive patient financial experience for the health care customers they serve within our communities. We will achieve this goal with a strategic focus on the four pillars below:
- Expand Membership: Improving accessibility, educational content, and professional development offerings to all members and health systems in Georgia, by bringing HFMA to your local area.
- Connect Providers and Business Partner Experts: Continued focus on adding value to all member types; helping to bridge the gap and find solutions for our providers challenges, through roundtables, quarterly healthcare provider calls, and provider/business partners case study illustrations virtually and in-person.
- Support Student Members and Early Careerist: Expanding our footprint across Universities across Georgia, becoming a partner and resource to the career service departments for bachelor and graduate students, while offering resume and interview support to early careerist.
- Increasing Community Impact Across the State: Participating in community health related initiatives and awareness programs to promote a healthier more knowledgeable patient population through fundraising and volunteering activities throughout the year.
We encourage each member, volunteer, and friends to join us in achieving our goals for this year by getting involved! We promise you will find value and build lasting relationships by taking advantage of being a member of Georgia HFMA through the attendance and participation in our in-person and virtual educational events, networking events, and community service events throughout the year. You are valuable to our vision and the ability to provide a positive financial experience for the patients we serve across Georgia.
Thank you for your commitment, dedication, and support to the Georgia HFMA Chapter, and we look forward to working with each of you to find Fresh Solutions this year!
