President’s Welcome

As I step into my role as SD HFMA Chapter President for the 2025-2026 year, I can’t help but reflect on my journey as an HFMA member—the personal and professional growth, the invaluable relationships, and the countless opportunities this organization has given me.

HFMA is more than an association—it’s a healthcare family. It has connected me with mentors, colleagues, and friends who continue to inspire and challenge me. I can confidently say that I would not be where I am today without this incredible community.

Looking ahead, I am energized and passionate about what we can accomplish—not just at the national and regional levels, but within our state chapter as well. This year, we have exciting new initiatives planned, including:

Expanding student engagement to strengthen the pipeline for future healthcare leaders.
Enhancing member engagement to ensure that every HFMA member finds value in their involvement.
Increasing our community impact, creating meaningful opportunities to give back and drive change.
