President’s Welcome
As we begin the new HFMA year, it is important to remember and thank our past leadership. As the 2024/25 President, Jaiden Ellenwood continued the tradition of leading the chapter to a successful year. She is handing over the reins to the incoming group of leaders with the momentum to keep it rolling. We will continue to rely on Jaiden as she moves into the Past President position for the upcoming year. Thank you, Jaiden and all past leadership!
We have a dedicated group of volunteers who will keep the chapter success momentum rolling this year. This group spends their time organizing educational events, providing opportunities to network with peers and business partners and ensuring the continued success of the chapter. It is important to recognize those volunteers due to the immense amount of time and effort spent on chapter activities. Thank you to all those volunteers and I look forward to working with each of you this upcoming year! Another important component of our chapter is the long list of sponsors who are willing to invest dollars and time in the Iowa Chapter. This past year I had an opportunity to work with many of our sponsors, and I heard several expressing the importance of giving back to the Iowa Chapter members. We have a great group of sponsors and business partners who are interested in building relationships and understanding the barriers each of face. We appreciate all our sponsors and business partners.
During May, a group of chapter leaders traveled to the HFMA Leadership Summit in Nashville where we learned more about chapter operations and leadership. The team spent time brainstorming and then met up again for a full day of chapter planning. The team discussed and transformed the initial ideas into actionable strategies. At the end of the day, our chapter leaders committed to 3 goals around chapter excellence, member value and mission impact. I look forward to sharing these with you as we move forward.
As President of the Iowa HFMA Chapter, I am committed to leading with integrity, compassion, and trust.
