Spencer Hospital, located in Spencer, Iowa, seeks a strategic and operationally minded finance executive to serve as its next Vice President of Finance/Chief Financial Officer (VP). Reporting directly to the President, the VP is responsible for all financial and fiscal management elements of hospital operations. The VP will be a business partner who can assess the financial implications of new and existing opportunities and also be willing to dig into the details and collaborate with others, inside and outside the organization, to achieve organizational goals. Job Summary:

Corewell Health is seeking an Integrated Data Analytics Manager. This role is responsible for the leading team(s) that develop Enterprise Data Assets and maintain the accessibility, sustainability, documentation and accuracy of these assets for business users. In collaboration with the director, the Integrated Data Analytics Manager works with stakeholders, including executive, product, data and design teams, to enable data analytics and its supporting delivery infrastructure. This role is responsible for the development of site/service goals and collaboration with the other team members, to continually improve services and support the management team. This role is responsible for resource planning and development, fiscal performance/budget management and the attainment of specific organizational goals. Working alongside other managers, the Integrated Data Analytics Manager defines policies and procedures that support the development of high-quality data assets. Facilitates the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise. Regularly assesses asset usage and viability to reduce technical debt are key responsibilities. As part of the Integrated Data Analytics (IDA) management team, The Integrated Data Analytics Manager participates in the overall business planning and development of organization, budgets, policies and operating procedures.

Essential Functions:

  • Establishes departmental goals and objectives, performance and production standards to assure quality.
  • Acts as a customer advocate and provides ongoing communication with customers, staff and multidisciplinary team regarding customer, staff, management, quality care issues and departmental goals.
  • Leads the tactical planning for their area(s) of oversight and participates in the preparation and management of an annual operating plan and budget. Develops capital and operational budgets for assigned area(s). Routinely monitors, manages and controls budget, analyzes variances and takes appropriate action. Develops plans for productivity improvements.
  • Works in collaboration with leadership to inspire a culture that fosters and celebrates performance excellence particularly in care, practice, service and operational indicators. Champions an atmosphere exemplifying transformational care and service outcomes to internal and external customers. Creates an expectation that staff become involved in committees, projects and continuous improvement activates. Holds staff accountable for high performance against job descriptions, policies, procedures, controls and processes, as well as corporate and divisional guidelines
  • Responsible for the retention of talent in a demanding technology environment that requires 24/7/365 service availability. This includes developing an understanding of what encourages retention in each individual, and its application, using creative, approved methods (e.g. flexible work schedule, educational opportunities, etc.) that promote the appropriate work/life balance, while first ensuring agreed upon services levels are being met. Mentors, coaches and develops staff, and acts as a role model and resource.
  • Engages in continuous study of the entire professional field, including best practices, to maintain the professional competence, knowledge and skills necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities. Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field by reading appropriate books, journals and other literature. Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years of relevant experience Supervisory, management or project leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Revenue Cycle.
  • Experience in Epic Reporting for revenue cycle.
  • Experience in ambulatory operations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent health care management, business, finance, health services research, computer science, mathematics, statistics, informatics, biostatistics, nursing or other related area of health care focus.
  • Master’s Degree or equivalent related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience healthcare, business, information services, or data analytics.
  • 3 years of relevant experience Proven expertise with producing reports for multiple audiences including the board of directors, administration, physician and nursing leadership.
  • 3 years of relevant experience Data extraction from clinical information systems.
  • 3 years of relevant experience managing teams with disparate roles and focuses, and in directing the work of others.

Emplify Health seeks a dynamic executive to serve as its next Vice President, Operational Finance (VP) within the enterprise Finance department. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer of Emplify Health, the VP serves as the critical role in reviewing, planning and executing the operational finance strategy in partnership with the Regional Chief Operating Officers. A master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
