Partnering with Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia

Partnering with Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia Georgia HFMA is proud to partner with Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia (HMHBGA) to raise $10,000 in support of maternal and infant health across our state.
This initiative aligns with our chapter’s commitment to “Timeless Challenges…Fresh Solutions” by connecting healthcare leaders to impactful organizations that improve outcomes for Georgia’s communities.
Since 1974, HMHBGA has been the strongest statewide voice advocating for improved access to healthcare and better health outcomes for mothers and babies. Their work spans the full spectrum of maternal and child health—from prematurity to maternal mortality—and includes:
- Free Doula Services & Childbirth Education
- Supporting birthing people with compassionate care and resources to ensure healthy pregnancies and deliveries.
- Pickles & Ice Cream® Georgia A free, evidence-informed online platform offering virtual classes, peer support, and educational tools for families and providers.
- Building Perinatal Support Professionals (BPSP) Scholarships and mentorships for individuals pursuing certification as doulas, childbirth educators, and breastfeeding specialists—empowering economic self-sufficiency and birth equity.
- Perinatal Care Packages Essential items like blood pressure monitors and postpartum support materials distributed statewide.
- Advocacy & Policy Leadership Amplifying real stories to drive legislative change and promote health equity at the Capitol.
- Data & Research Providing insights through the Maternal and Child Health Data Hub and annual State of the State reports.
This year, Georgia HFMA is expanding its community impact by supporting HMHBGA’s mission through fundraising and awareness. Your donation helps ensure that every mother and baby in Georgia has access to the care, education, and support they deserve.
Join us in making a difference. Donate today and help us reach our $10,000 goal! Together, we can build a healthier Georgia—one family at a time.
