President’s Welcome

Dear Florida HFMA Members,

It is a true honor and privilege to serve as your Florida HFMA Chapter President for the 2025–2026 term. In these times of rapid change within the healthcare industry, our chapter remains steadfast in its mission to deliver timely, relevant education and support to our members.

Florida HFMA continues to be one of the most vibrant and active chapters in the nation, with an impressive annual growth rate of 10%. Our commitment is not only to expand our membership but also to provide exceptional value to each of you. With a foundation built on volunteerism and engagement, we proudly serve over 11,000 members, including more than 100 Enterprise Organizations.

This year, we will focus on four key strategic initiatives:

Deliver High-Value Education: Our chapter hosts over 10 live educational events each year, including two statewide conferences—Spring and Fall—and numerous regional sessions across North, Central, and South Florida. We are committed to delivering high-impact content that supports professional growth.
Engage Emerging Leaders and Students: We are deepening our partnerships with Florida’s university MHA programs to grow our Emerging Leader and student membership. By connecting with future healthcare finance professionals, we are investing in the next generation of leaders.
Enhance Member and Partner Value: We will continue to offer innovative educational programming and dynamic networking opportunities that foster collaboration and career development for all members (providers and business partners).
Expand Volunteer Engagement: Through regular new member orientations and chapter involvement opportunities, we aim to grow and energize our volunteer base—the heart of our chapter’s success.

Our theme for this year is Carpe Diem—“Seize the Day.” In an industry facing constant evolution and complex challenges, we must act with purpose and intention to create a meaningful impact every single day.

We encourage each Florida HFMA member to fully embrace the benefits of membership: attend events, pursue certifications, engage with our tools and resources to further your career and personal brand. Most importantly—get involved. Our leadership team is here to support and empower you every step of the way.
