President’s Welcome

2025-2026 will bring us forward to The Next Frontier of Collaboration.
Building strategic partnerships with peers, business partners, and communities to enhance patient care, patient experience, and patient engagement. Healthcare leaders will need to explore innovative models to drive growth and efficiency. As the healthcare landscape continues to evolve, collaboration will be paramount for navigating challenges and seizing opportunities. By supporting our members with the fostering of partnerships that bridge gaps between various stakeholders, Alabama HFMA can work to unlock new frontiers in patient care, operational efficiency, and innovation. The healthcare landscape is constantly evolving due to technology, policy shifts, and patient expectations. We must be open to transformation and adaptability – embrace change.
During this year, I look forward to developing programs that bridge the way for building strong relationships across providers, business partners, and communities. The challenges we all face are substantial but so are the opportunities for growth, innovation, and improvement. Of course, we will continue to focus on the high-quality education programs along with various avenues for membership involvement. Alabama HFMA is committed to the continued development of programs and events to provide mentoring opportunities for students and new careerists. Healthcare is not just about systems and processes; it’s about people.
I welcome our Board and Committee Chairs for 2025-2026 who are passionate about the mission of healthcare. I encourage everyone to support Alabama HFMA through membership, committees, volunteer roles, etc. Together, with dedication we will shape the future of healthcare and the communities we serve.
