Dear Virginia-DC HFMA Members,

I’m thrilled to step into the role of chapter president for 2025–2026! In a time of rapid change—whether in policy, technology, or the drive to improve outcomes—collaboration will continue to be a key to our success. 

This year, we’ll keep delivering top-tier education and genuine connections, with programs ranging from healthcare policy fundamentals to the latest innovations in finance. Expect college visits, virtual workshops, engaging webinars, and multi-day conferences tailored to our diverse membership. We’re also laying the groundwork for a chapter-wide framework to connect students with internship opportunities, helping them gain real-world experience and strengthening our pipeline of future leaders.

I’m especially excited that HFMA is now offering free memberships to undergraduate and graduate students—investing in the next generation of talent. I encourage you to dive in, make connections, and take full advantage of the resources our chapter offers. Together, we have the expertise, passion, and drive to shape the future of healthcare finance.
