Dear NEPA HFMA Members and Friends,
It is an honor to serve as President of the HFMA Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter for the 2025–2026 term. As we begin this new chapter together, I’m filled with gratitude and excitement for the opportunities ahead. We are committed to continue building meaningful relationships, fostering innovation, and advancing the healthcare finance profession—together.
Our chapter’s success plan centers on three key priorities:
- Enhancing Member Value: We’re focused on delivering high-quality programming, expanding sponsorship support, and creating meaningful opportunities for networking and development. Whether you’re a long-time member or just beginning your HFMA journey, we want you to feel the value of being part of this vibrant community.
- Promoting Professional Excellence: Through certification and fellowship advancement, Lunch & Learn sessions, and social media spotlights, we aim to support your growth and celebrate your achievements.
- Building Future Leadership: We’re investing in student outreach, scholarships, and mentorship to cultivate the next generation of healthcare finance leaders.
This year’s national HFMA theme, “Lead Now,” introduced by HFMA National Chair Kiran Batheja, is a powerful call to action. In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, leadership is more than a title—it’s a mindset. Whether you’re guiding a team, leading a project, or simply leading by example, your voice and actions matter. Let this be the year you step forward and make a lasting impact.
We’re also launching new initiatives to improve communication, increase event engagement, and enhance our digital presence. These efforts are designed to keep you informed, inspired, and connected throughout the year.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our board members, committee chairs, volunteers, and business partners. Your dedication and support are the heartbeat of NEPA HFMA. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve and excited to build on the legacy of those who came before us.
