President’s Welcome

Dear HFMA Philadelphia Chapter Members,
As I step into the role of President of the HFMA Philadelphia Chapter, I am filled with enthusiasm and gratitude for the opportunity to serve our vibrant community of healthcare finance professionals. It is an honor to work alongside such dedicated individuals who are committed to advancing the healthcare landscape in our region.
My vision for the upcoming year revolves around three pivotal priorities that I believe will strengthen our chapter and empower our members. Firstly, we aim to deepen the personal connections within our community. In a rapidly evolving healthcare environment, fostering strong relationships is essential. We will focus on creating avenues for meaningful interactions that support each other professionally and personally.
Secondly, we will continue our legacy of delivering top-tier educational events. These sessions will cover leading topics that address the challenges and opportunities in healthcare finance today. By equipping our members with knowledge and insights, we enable them to drive impactful change in their organizations and the broader healthcare system.
Lastly, we understand the importance of vibrant social events as a means for networking and collaboration. We are committed to hosting engaging activities that bring us together, inspire new ideas, and form lasting connections.
Together, we will support healthcare organizations in navigating the complexities of the current landscape, while keeping our chapter’s heartbeat strong and connected. I am excited to embark on this journey with all of you and look forward to a year filled with growth, learning, and camaraderie.
Thank you for your continued dedication to our chapter and the healthcare finance community. Let’s make this year one of our best yet!
Warm regards,
Sara Smith
