Call for Speakers
Thank you for your interest in sharing your expertise at a Metro NY event to help advance the Metro NY healthcare community. Please follow the link below to submit your presentation proposal(s) for 2025-2026 year.
Speaker Benefits
As a speaker, you will benefit by:
- Increased visibility within the Metro NY healthcare community and added recognition beyond the event
- Complimentary registration to attend the entire event
Selection Process
The Metro NY General Education committee will review all proposals.
*Note: HFMA Metro NY Chapter annual Corporate Sponsors are given priority consideration.
Selection Criteria includes:
- Timeliness of topic – relevancy and currency of information
- Presenter qualifications (must submit a one paragraph biography)
- Practical application of materials
- References from past speaking engagements
Speaker Policies
- Travel Fees: With few exceptions, T&E is the responsibility of the speaker. We are a not-for-profit association with limited funding.
- No Soliciting: Part ofHFMA Metro NY’s mission is to provide quality education to our members. Sessions are not to sell services or products. Please adhere to these guidelines, as the VP of Education and General Education Chair will be monitoring each session and will interrupt session speaker(s) if this policy is violated.
PROVIDER AND ACADEMIC MEMBERS
Provider and Academic members willing to present case studies and other “how to” sessions based on successes at their organizations are strongly encouraged to submit a form, as these types of sessions are of much interest and demand.
