HFMA San Diego Chapter Student Membership Scholarship Opportunities
The application below is for students who are interested in taking advantage of a FREE Student Membership with HFMA. This is an excellent opportunity for students to broaden their exposure to the Healthcare Finance industry, collaborate with seasoned professionals, network with colleagues across a wide variety of organizations, and to build their resume.
Once a student applies, the application will be reviewed by SD Chapter leaders before sending to HFMA National with the Chapter’s approval.
Scholarship Benefits
- FREE HFMA membership for 1 year which provides website access to compensation benchmarks, education content and access to earn most HFMA Certifications, with limited exceptions.
- The opportunity to network with Industry members and leaders.
- Complimentary access to one in-person SD Chapter educational event.
- Optional Attendance to Board Meetings
Applicant Requirements
- Have a valid .edu email (Student email address is required)
- Studies focused on Healthcare, Finance, or a related field.
- Commit to Chapter participation in one of the following ways:
- Attend and participate in at least 1 in person education/networking event- (Micro task: set up, registration, planning, etc.)
- Engage in social media.
- Serve on at least 1 committee.
