A Chapter Volunteer Initiative Task Force that is chartered to examine the current chapter infrastructure to position HFMA for continual high levels of performance and service to our membership. This includes assessing the current state of membership, the role of the volunteer, trends in volunteerism, chapter succession planning, and the administrative burden on chapter volunteers.

We’re growing our volunteer network and want to offer opportunities that align with your interests, availability, and professional goals. The chairperson must commit to at least one (1) fiscal year from June to May. Please complete the short survey. Note: We ask that volunteers serve on at least two (2) years as a Committee Chair or Director before being considered for the Officer Track.
Officer roles include the following paths:
- General Officer Track: A 4-year commitment starting with Secretary → President-Elect → President → Past President / Annual Conference Chair
- Treasurer Track: A minimum 2-year commitment focused on financial oversight and budgeting
