President’s Welcome
Hi Montana HFMA Chapter Members,
I hope this message finds you well! I’m both excited and grateful to be stepping into the role of Chapter President for the 2025–2026 term. Serving such an engaged and passionate group of professionals is a real honor—and I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together this year.
First, a huge thank-you to our past President Trish Wagner for her exceptional leadership over the last year and taking our Chapter to new heights! It was truly an honor serving with you. Also, thank-you to the rest of the leadership team, board members, volunteers and all the members who helped us get to where we are today. Our chapter thrives because of your energy, ideas, and commitment.
As we look ahead, here are a few things we’re focused on this year:
- Bringing People Together: Whether it’s through in-person events, virtual webinars, or collaborations with other HFMA chapters and healthcare associations, we’re creating more ways for you to connect with fellow members and expand your professional circle.
- Fresh, Relevant Education: All aspects of healthcare finance are continuously evolving. The Montana HFMA Chapter will be offering up-to-date, practical content to utilize throughout your organization from the business office through finance functions. Offerings will include webinars, our fall and spring conferences, and our participation in the Western Regional Symposium with Region 10 and 11 Chapters—keeping you informed and ahead of the curve.
- Getting Involved: We’re making it easier to jump in and contribute, no matter what your schedule. Want to volunteer? Speak at an event? Join a committee? Let us know—we’d love to have you involved in any way that works for you.
- Making HFMA Work for You: Whether you’re here for CPE credits, career growth, or just to be part of a like-minded community, we want to make sure you’re getting value from your membership.
Whether you are a long-standing member, a new participant, or someone considering joining our organization, I encourage you to explore the resources and opportunities available through our chapter.
