President’s Welcome

Dear Members, Sponsors, and Volunteers,
It is with deep gratitude and great anticipation that I welcome you to a new year for the HFMA Colorado Chapter — one that promises meaningful growth, renewed connection, and impactful progress. As your President, I am honored to help lead our community forward, grounded in our shared values and energized by our theme:
“Three Pillars. One Purpose.”
Our chapter stands strong because of the steadfast foundation built by three essential groups — our Members, Sponsors, and Volunteers. Like a three-legged stool, each pillar is vital: without one, our structure would fail. Together, they form the support system for everything we strive to achieve.
Members: The Heart of Our Community
You are the driving force of our mission. Whether you’re early in your career or a seasoned expert, your curiosity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence are what breathe life into this chapter. Through your engagement in educational programming, thought leadership, and networking events, you continuously elevate the standards of healthcare finance.
You bring not only knowledge — but vision. You challenge norms, ask important questions, and help chart the path forward for our field. Your participation helps ensure that HFMA remains not just relevant, but indispensable to our profession.
Sponsors: The Power Behind Our Possibilities
Your partnership is more than financial — it is foundational. Sponsors fuel our ability to offer high-quality events, scholarships, and innovative initiatives that extend our reach and deepen our impact. But even more than resources, you bring insights, industry foresight, and strategic thinking that enrich our chapter’s value to our members.
You are collaborators, mentors, and thought partners — and through your support, we are able to create experiences that empower our members and volunteers alike to learn, grow, and lead.
Volunteers: The Heartbeat of Our Mission
Without your energy, passion, and tireless contributions behind the scenes, our chapter would not function. You are the planners, the problem-solvers, the connectors — often working quietly but always leaving a big impact.
Whether coordinating logistics for an event, managing communications, mentoring new leaders, or driving key initiatives, your dedication is what transforms ideas into action. You lead not for recognition, but for the reward of making a difference. That spirit of service is what makes our chapter truly special.
As we step into this new year together, my hope is that we will each embrace our role in this great community — supporting, inspiring, and uplifting one another. Through increased collaboration, fresh programming, and shared leadership, we will continue to build a chapter that not only supports its members, sponsors, and volunteers — but reflects their excellence.
I encourage each of you to take an active role:
- Attend one more event than last year.
- Volunteer for a committee or share a bold idea.
- Reach out to someone new and welcome them in.
Let’s use this year to reaffirm that when we work together — when our three pillars stand firm — we are capable of remarkable things.
Thank you for your continued trust, your commitment, and your belief in the power of community. I am honored to serve alongside you, and excited for what lies ahead.
With gratitude and purpose,
Eric Wilberg
President 2025-2026
HFMA Colorado Chapter
