President’s Welcome
Dear Connecticut Chapter Members,
It is with great pride and gratitude that I welcome you to a new chapter year as President of the Connecticut HFMA. Serving as your president for the second time is an incredible honor, and I’m humbled by the opportunity to continue building on the strong foundation laid by our past leaders.
While my first presidency was only 3 years ago, my roots in HFMA go back sixteen years. A lot has changed throughout the years, but our dedication to providing exceptional educational events and networking opportunities has not. I am lucky to have a talented group of volunteers for our chapter leadership team. As the saying goes; it takes a village. Without these folks and all our volunteers, we would not be where we are today. As our chapter is quickly approaching 900 members, I am confident that our team will continue to maintain our high standards.
At the heart of CT HFMA is our vibrant community. Whether you’re a long-standing member or new to the organization, the strength of our chapter lies in the connections we foster and the knowledge we share. Our industry is constantly evolving, and now more than ever, we need each other for insight, support, and collaboration. Through our educational programs and networking events, we’re committed to creating spaces where professionals at every level can thrive and grow together.
Networking isn’t just a benefit of HFMA membership, it’s a cornerstone. The relationships we build within this community can shape careers and improve the healthcare systems and organizations we serve. I encourage all of you to get involved, whether it’s by attending events, volunteering, or simply reaching out to a fellow member. As we look ahead, I’m excited for what we can accomplish together and truly believe that this year will be one of connection, innovation, and shared success. Back by popular demand! We are happy to announce the fourth edition of our Chapter Resource Guide. It’s hard to believe a year has gone by since our last publication but we have had a lot going on behind the scenes to get this publication out. Similar to last year, you will find interactive links to Advertisements, contact info and event registration while also providing perspective from industry experts and your fellow members!
We will continue to add pictures, chapter updates, and compelling articles/interviews with healthcare and political leaders. So please check the guide frequently and we will also continue send out communications when new content is added.
