Inside HFMA: HFMA’s Annual Conference keynotes focus on thinking differently about healthcare finance
The aim of HFMA’s Annual Conference, being held June 22-25 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, is to empower the healthcare finance community to be leaders in the advancement of affordable and sustainable healthcare.

On June 23, futurist, former head of OpenAI’s Go To Market, Zack Kass draws parallels to the historical renaissance and offers a vision of innovation and opportunity over disruption in his presentation. Kass also demystifies AI’s latest advancements, providing practical insights and strategies that will help future-proof teams to lead the way in this new era.

The Future of Healthcare: How Will Your Organization Be Impacted? On June 24, health policy specialist and tech visionary Vin Gupta, MD, MPA, chief medical officer of Amazon pharmacy, will reveal how healthcare organizations might be impacted by new advancements, technologies and policies, and how their finance leaders can think creatively and adapt to the disruptive trends shaping business and healthcare.

Where to Turn When the Political Climate Heats Up. On Wednesday, June 25, Amy Walter, political analyst and publisher and editor-in-chief of the Cook Political Report, will use her expertise in the electoral process, congressional culture and Washington’s political landscape, to deliver an engaging, insightful look at how the shifting political landscape is impacting all facets of industry including healthcare. Walter’s presentation will help attendees gain an insider’s perspective of the political forces at play and how they may affect healthcare organizations’ financial sustainability and decision-making in the years ahead.
