This summary provides highlights of healthcare-related proposals included in the President’s Budget for fiscal year (FY) 2025, based on materials released by the Biden Administration on March 11, 2024. All budget estimates shown are those provided by the Office of Management and Budget or drawn from the Department of Health and Human Services Budget in Brief. As usual, the Congressional Budget Office is expected to prepare an analysis of the President’s budget proposals, and CBO scoring may differ. President Biden’s budget for FY 2025 proposes policies that OMB estimates would reduce federal deficits by a total of $3.227 trillion over the next 10 years (FYs 2025-2034).
