President’s Welcome

It is an honor and a privilege to serve as President of the Massachusetts-Rhode Island Chapter for the 2025-2026 term. As we begin this new year, I want to thank our 1,200+ members, our incredible volunteers, and our valued corporate and educational sponsors. Your commitment and shared passion for education, leadership, and connection are what drive our Chapter forward. I am excited to introduce our Chapter’s theme for the year: “Lead by Example.” This theme aligns closely with HFMA’s national message, “Lead Now”, introduced by incoming HFMA National Chair Kiran Batheja. “Lead by example” is more than a theme–it is a mindset and a standard that reflects who we are.

My own journey with HFMA started in 2015 at our Chapter’s annual compliance conference. Since then, I’ve seen how our Chapter has led with excellence–through high-quality educational programs, engaging networking events, impactful volunteer opportunities, and strong partnerships that benefit not only our members and sponsors but the healthcare community at large.

In the year ahead, I look forward to working alongside our dedicated board, committees, volunteers, members, and sponsors. Together, our collective efforts will strengthen the Chapter and inspire engagement across every level of our community.
