President’s Message

Dear New Jersey HFMA Chapter Members,
I am honored and excited to serve as the 2025–2026 President of the HFMA New Jersey Chapter. It is a privilege to work alongside such a talented and passionate group of leaders within our healthcare community. Together, we will continue to support and strengthen our chapter through education, professional development, and meaningful connections.
Our chapter has a proud tradition of offering high-quality resources and experiences that foster both personal and professional growth. Whether you’re new to the field or a seasoned professional, HFMA provides valuable opportunities—from formal certification programs to engaging educational and networking events and leadership opportunities through committee involvement. I encourage you to take full advantage of all your membership has to offer.
This year’s national theme, “Lead Now,” introduced by incoming HFMA National Chair Kiran Batheja, is a powerful call to action. Inspired by the ever evolving and rapidly changing healthcare financial landscape, this is an action-oriented reminder to make an impact through your leadership. Whether you are in a position to directly lead teams or lead by example, Lead Now is your call to action.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to expanding our reach and impact. We encourage you to stay informed and involved by visiting our website and following us on social media for updates, event announcements, and volunteer opportunities. Your voice matters, and we welcome your feedback and ideas as we continue to grow and evolve.
I am deeply grateful for the visionary leaders, dedicated committee members, and enthusiastic volunteers who have built the strong foundation of New Jersey HFMA. To our incoming board members and officers—thank you for your commitment to serving our chapter. To our business partners—your generous support is essential to providing robust programming and educational content for our members.
I look forward to the year ahead and all that we will accomplish together.
Warm regards,
Jonathan Besler
