FastFinance: Good faith estimate rules coming

Congress is pressing CMS to release long-delayed rules that would implement requirements that providers create good faith estimates for their patients.

Also, this week’s Weird Number: As of July, 96.5% of independent dispute resolution disputes submitted since the program’s start have been resolved or are less than 30 business days old.

One More Thing: Hospitals could face reviews from HRSA on whether they complied with rules surrounding Provider Relief Fund monies.
