Welcome to the Volunteer Resource Center for the Greater Heartland Chapter of HFMA!

We are thrilled to have you join our community of dedicated volunteers who are committed to making a positive impact within our chapter.  This page is designed to be your go-to resource for all the tools and educational materials you need to succeed in your volunteer role.

PROGRAMMING

Educational programming is at the heart of our mission.  Our commitment to providing high-quality educational programming is unwavering, and we couldn’t do it without empowering dedicated volunteers like you to plan and execute our chapter’s education events.  To ensure you have everything you need, we’ve compiled a selection of resources to help you get started and track your planning progress.

2. Working With DeMarse Meetings & Events Agency

Demarse is an event planning agency contracted with the Greater Heartland Chapter to provide direct support in planning events. The Demarse team is a great resource and will handle many of the details on behalf of the planning committee.  The PDF provides an overview of the different areas of responsibility to assist you in knowing who is responsible.

The event tracker is an interactive tool designed to help you coordinate detailed planning milestones, tasks, committee and budget details, and the overall planning timeline.  This tool, based on years of prior programming experience, is a one-stop resource that will remove the guesswork in planning by giving you an overview dashboard, structured documentation tool, checklist of tasks and will automatically assign due dates based on your expected event date; all while remaining flexible enough for you and your committee to make adjustments.

4. Learn From Prior Events

The Volunteer Resource Center has been designed with the vision to continually expand the content we bring to you; to help you and your team glean information from prior events. Information such as prior event trackers, venue and speaker information, etc. will be coming in future development.
